Located in South America, this client is a manufacturing plant specializing in automotive tire production. With the continuous growth of the local automotive market, the client’s tire production has increased year by year, and the existing warehouse space could no longer meet the growing inventory needs. The warehouse was undergoing expansion. In actual operation, the client faced problems such as irregular tire storage methods, large space occupation, and low storage density. At the same time, the efficiency of storing and retrieving tires was low, with frequent manual operations, which affected warehouse turnover efficiency and increased management difficulties. How to improve storage efficiency under limited warehouse height conditions and achieve safe, standardized, and convenient tire storage became a core problem that the client urgently needed to solve.
Based on the client’s actual working conditions and warehouse conditions, we conducted a systematic analysis of their tire specifications, warehouse height, and operating methods. Ultimately, we recommended and custom-designed a 60-inch stacking tire rack for the client. This tire rack can be stacked up to five layers high, and its overall height perfectly matches the client’s warehouse structure height. Without increasing warehouse renovation costs, it significantly increased the storage capacity per unit area. The tire rack is made of high-strength steel, with a scientifically and rationally designed structure, possessing excellent stacking load-bearing performance and overall stability, capable of carrying a large number of tires for a long time without deformation or tilting. At the same time, the stacking structure facilitates classified storage and quick retrieval of tires, effectively improving warehousing operation efficiency.
After the cooperation was established, the tire racks were successfully delivered and put into use. The client reported that the warehouse space utilization rate significantly improved, tire storage became more orderly and standardized, storage and retrieval efficiency increased significantly, and warehouse management difficulties were greatly reduced.
